How to play D/F# (easiest shape)
Shape: Open, tab 2 x 0 2 3 2 (6th to 1st string).
- 1Put your index finger (1) on the 3rd string at the 2nd fret.
- 2Put your middle finger (2) on the 1st string at the 2nd fret.
- 3Put your ring finger (3) on the 2nd string at the 3rd fret.
- 4Wrap your thumb (T) over the top of the neck and press the 6th string at the 2nd fret.
- 5Let the 4th string ring open.
- 6Mute the 5th string: let your thumb (T) touch it lightly so it doesn't ring.
- 7Strum down from the 6th string to the 1st string.
